VISIT TO VIGO : QUEEN VICTORIA, MARCO MUSEUM, O CASTRO SITE/MOUNTAIN
Tomorrow we are going to Vigo to interview some of the passengers of Queen Victoria and to be their guides for a short while. Six groups of students from 3º ESO C (bilingual section) will offer to explain what the tourists can visit in Vigo, provide them with maps and useful tips to make the most of their day.
After that we will visit O Marco Museum. We will enjoy a guided tour of the temporary exhibition by Francisco Mantecón: "Passion and calculus".
In the early afternoon we will climb up to "O Castro" where some students will be the guides in the archeological site for the rest of the group.
I wish you were here 4º D
" I wish you were here " is an old song that must be published in the blog somewhere but can't find it. Yes! I know I have to do some tidying!
The next one by Cher Lloyd is a bit more modern.
What does the singer regret?
What do you think about it?
So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from Hell,
Blue sky's from pain.
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
Heaven from Hell,
Blue sky's from pain.
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade
Your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange
A walk on part in the war
For a lead role in a cage?
Your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange
A walk on part in the war
For a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl,
Year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
And how we found
The same old fears.
Wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl,
Year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
And how we found
The same old fears.
Wish you were here.
